We are a small, friendly, family run yard that offers the very
best care for both you and your horse. We live on site so there
is 24hr supervision provided. We are a B.H.S. Approved yard,
with qualified staff and a happy team atmosphere that goes
from the top right through. We pride ourselves on offering a
high standard of care and attention which ensures happy and
contented horses.
Ann is the yard owner with over 40 years experience with horses. Ann
has trained with the best, Molly Sivewright and Dorothy Johnson.
Ann’s experience includes being Head Girl at The Yorkshire Riding
Centre, home of Jane and Christopher Bartle, and District
Commisioner of the Bramham Moor Pony Club. Ann is responsible
for the running of the yard and excells at feeding all types of horses.
Cathy is an International Dressage rider at both Young Rider and
Senior level, and has competed at all levels including Grand Prix.
Cathy is  a member of the Pony Club dressage committee.
Cathy has recently started training the West Yorkshire Police
Mounted section. She also teaches Pony Club teams, advanced 2*
Dressage and up to 2* eventing. Cathy is BHS registered and has
achieved the UKCC Level 3 Coaching Certificate. Cathy is also on
the Trainers Database for British dressage and a recognised
Paralympic coach. Cathy enjoys teaching all levels of riders to
achieve their goals and ambitions.
Cathy regularly teaches for a number of local riding clubs and she also travels around the North of
England giving clinics. These are both at private yards but also at various R.D.A. Centres and
this also includes Para, Senior and BYRDS training for British Dressage.
Further afield Cathy travels to Scotland a few times each year coaching the Deveron Pony Club
and also teaches at their camp.
Our yard is situated just outside Harrogate, North Yorkshire and is easy to get to from York,
Leeds, Ripon or the A1 and yet we are situated in quiet countryside.

This year life has changed a bit on the yard as Cathy is having time out from competing. The
amount of training she has been doing has made it hard to do both but with the offer of a ride
for this year watch this space!!
